Last week we featured the 3D Flowers Promo, and as promised let's delve deeper into 3D Photography...

3D Photography for Lenticular is one of the best ways to capture your product in realistic dimension.  90% of 3D Lenticular is created in Photoshop, with varying degrees of "authenticity".  I've seen some samples where the body part (let's say arm) looks physically disjointed from the body.  My arm doesn't float 4 feet in front of me, does yours?  Talented Lenticular Designers don't make this mistake, but we're not here to talk about that.  You want to know "How to do your own 3D Photography".

The basic needs are as follows:

  1. Determine if you have the correct equipment (FOBA stand, lighting, etc... here's the Photo Studio we have)
  2. High Resolution Digital Camera?
  3. Can you produce consistent lighting?
  4. Adobe Photoshop for Masking and Editing?

More on next steps on creating your lenticular in other articles...

* Note: If your project is being printed professionally, you should consult our lenticular experts prior to the shoot at 262.338.6101.
